Memento Mori
Amongst many the long forgotten jewish resorts of the Borscht Belt, Grossinger's Catskills Resort provided New York Jews with glitz and glamour from the 1920's until its closure in the 1980's. Since then, over ambitious plans and proposals have only been silenced by the site's unworthiness. The project speculates upon the notions of temporality in architecture whilst prescribing interventions in envisioning a possible forever.
